1. Update Motorola services:
Some times Moto G smartphone takes time to notify your automatically. But you have chance to check and force your Moto G phone to upgrade. To do this update your "Motorola update services". Updating Motorola update services in play store will let you notified quickly about Moto G lollipop update.
To do this Go to : Play store » My apps , there you can find Motorola Update services. You just update it, it takes less time to update. Be up-to-date about this, because it always notify you about your software or services.
Checking for Android lollipop update:
After upgrading your motorola update services, now time to check OS upgrade. Now go and check for System update in your Moto G. Recognizing this update is your phone thing, means it's upto your phone. There is nothing we do about it.
Go to : Settings » About Phone » System updates
You'll get notified here that you got lollipop update. When there comes about Lollipop update just press " Yes, I am in". After that it'll copy system updates.
After downloading system update, screen will show you to install lollipop update. Just press Install. After that system restart automatically. Don't worry, it's going to install lollipop in your device.
